QuickBooks Remote App Set up for Windows (Hosted QB)

Open Control Panel and choose RemoteApp and Desktop Connections

Choose Access RemoteApp and desktops

Enter the following URL:

Input the credentials

Now click Next twice and it should prompt for credentials. This should be the users created from within


Click Finish and then choose View Resources.


You will get a window that contains the QuickBooks icon

Right click on it then choose Send To > Desktop (create shortcut). That will make a short cut on your desktop, and you are now ready to use Quickbooks, just launch the shortcut and start working.

In case you aren’t on your computer and need access to Quickbooks, you may use the web version by browsing to

Keep in mind that the web based access will not allow you to print anything, but you will be able to still email and create pdf’s.
