Choose File> Back Up Company> Create Local Backup
Select Local Backup.
Click Browse and select the location where you want to save your backup copy. When you have chosen, click OK.
Select the additional options as needed. When complete click OK.
Select Save It Now, and click Finish. The backup will begin to process.
- Upload file to client’s FTP drive
Log into Cielo (Https://portal.cieloadmin.com)
Choose Reports tab in the top menu, then go to the “Master Client” report, choose the desired Client and under Actions click View.
On the report you will find the following information:
On the computer with the company file back up, open Windows “File” Explorer aka “My Computer” window.
Click on the top navigation bar and clear the contents. Proceed to type “ftp://[ftpservername] and click enter. You will then be prompted for credentials. Please proceed to enter the ftp username and password.
Once logged in, copy and paste your QuickBooks back up file into the ftp folder. You will then get a progress bar for the upload. Please note that the FTP folder is the F: drive on your Cloud Workspace session.
Log in to your Cloud Workspace.
Go to the F: drive and move the files to the appropriate folder in the H: drive.

In the Cloud Workspace Launch QuickBooks > Choose File > Open or Restore Company.
Select Open or Restore a Backup Copy, and then click Next.
Select Local Backup and click Next.
Click the Look in drop-down arrow, select the location of the backup file, and then select the file name of the backup file. (The file name should appear as [Company Name].qbb.)
Click Open and then click Next.
Click the Save-in drop-down arrow and select the location where you want to restore the file.
